Are there any newsgroups for discussions about the use of recordable
DVDs for the storage of data? If so, what are they? All I can find are
groups for the video uses of DVD. Thank you in advance for all replies.

Whenever I hear or think of the song "Great green gobs of greasy
grimey gopher guts" I imagine my cat saying; "That sounds REALLY,
REALLY good. I'll have some of that!"

alt.comp.periphs.cdr despite the name tends to get a lot of DVD related
queries now that most CD burning software will burn DVD too.

alt.video.dvdr
alt.video.dvd.software

While the above 2 groups are intended for video related queries its
common to see a lot of general (such as hardware and data storage)
queries there aswell.
